Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation and Serum - A few weeks on....

So Mummies, a few weeks ago I wrote about my delight at being chosen for Supersavvyme's Savvy Circle project with Max Factor and my first experiences with it! I've now been using Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation + Serum, (which claims to instantly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while the added serum simultaneously protects the skin against signs of aging due to it's SPF15) for six weeks and it's about time I updated you with my thoughts!

While I've been off on maternity leave I admit I have let my beauty routine go a bit (some days I wonder how I have the time to get dressed and brush my hair never mind put on face creams and make up!) but as I am returning to work in just three weeks I have been trying to get back into it. So although I have not been wearing make up everyday I have been 'putting my face on' a lot more that usual!

At first this felt a bit weird but after a few days I found that the Max Factor Ageless Elixir is so light on my skin I forget I am wearing it! It's really easy to apply in the mornings taking up just a few minutes of my precious 'Mummy Time' and it blends in smoothly and easily with a make up sponge!

Also you only need to use a really small amount (much less than my previous foundation) so the bottle will last for ages which makes it really good value for money!

I've started to notice a difference in my skin too! I wouldn't say it makes me look years younger (I'm only 27 so I don't look that old to start with!) but it definitely gives my skin a smoother more 'flawless' look when I'm wearing it! I've had comments from friends and I have actually walked past a mirror and admired the reflection of my smooth looking skin thinking it was someone else!

Overall I am really pleased with this foundation! It feels nice and light on my skin, is easy to use, the bottle is a good size that easily fits in the 'Mummy' pocket of my changing bag or my handbag to take out and about with me! Whether it lives up to all of it's claims only time will tell but so far so good!

Now Mummies when I was chosen to be part of this project as well as being sent a bottle of Max Factor Ageless Elixir to use myself I was sent some samples and money off vouchers to give out to family and friends so they could try this new product also! I have now given most of these out but have 3 samples and vouchers left and I thought why not give some of my lovely readers the chance to try this fantastic new product and see what they think? So if any of you would be interested in trying the new Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation + Serum in Natural (shade 50) please let me know below! I have three sachets (single use) and £2 off vouchers (for use in Boots only) to send out.

This isn't a competition, just a chance for some of you to try this new product and post on here or the facebook page to tell me what you think (pictures would be fab too!) If more than 3 people comment by Saturday I will do a random draw....

Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation and Serum - Trying it out!

So Mummies! Last week I wrote about my delight at being chosen for Supersavvyme's Savvy Circle project with Max Factor! Over the next eight weeks I will be trying out the yet to be released Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation + Serum, which claims to instantly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while the added serum simultaneously protects the skin again signs of aging due to it's SPF15.

Well on Saturday we had my mum staying with us so she offered to look after the little ones while myself and my hubby went out!! Just the cinema and a quick meal so not a 'big night on the town' but it was a nice change to staying in and it meant I got the perfect opportunity to try out the new Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation + Serum!!

So after tucking Ben and Elizabeth in bed I sat down at my dressing table and took out the bottle. When I opened it I immediately got a 'whiff' of the scent. Although not an unpleasant smell, it was fairly strong and I thought if that's all over my face it could be quite overpowering!

I got out a new make up sponge and applied it to my face. The liquid was smooth and seemed to glide on really easily not needing too much blending. The 'Natural' colour suited my pale skin tone perfectly and once applied it felt really lightweight and soft. Looking closely in the mirror I could see immediately that it had evened out my skin and made it look smoother! As we were about to leave even my mum (who doesn't complement very easily, commented that my 'make up' looked nice! So far so good!

As the night wore on I actually stopped noticing the scent of the foundation and to be honest barely knew I was wearing make up as it felt so light! When I got home and looked in the mirror 5 hours after first applying it still looked really smooth and even, it had lasted well! The foundation came off easily with my regular cleansing wipes leaving my skin fresh and clean.

The first use has gone well! So far I am impressed! I gave my Mum a couple of samples and a voucher for her to try out as she was impressed with how it looked on me! I'll keep updating you all as I use it! If you're a fellow project member please let me know how you're finding it too!

Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation and Serum!

I've always loved make and worn it regularly since I was about 13 (I was always getting told off for wearing too much eye shadow in school - Well it was bright blue! - You gotta love the nineties!)

I was a girl who would never leave the house without a full face of make up, not even to pop to the shops! I've always had a cupboard full of face creams and serums too. But all that changed four years ago when I had my first child. Nothing prepares you for the lack of time you have for yourself when you have children! Now, I wouldn't change it for the world but having two little ones to run around after means I sometimes struggles to find the time to brush my hair , never mind use face creams and put on a full face of make up!

I am only 27, so wrinkles and lines are not something I thought I would be worrying about yet, but I have seen myself age quickly over the last few years since becoming a Mummy and I want to put a stop to that!

So I was delighted when I was chosen as a member of Supersavvyme's Savvy Circle project with Max Factor! Over the next eight weeks I will be trying out the yet to be released Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation + Serum, which claims to instantly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while the added serum simultaneously protects the skin again signs of aging due to it's SPF15.

That all sounds wonderful but does it deliver on these claims? Well I am here to find out and share with you! I have been sent a full sized sample of the Ageless Elixir Foundation + Serum 2in1 to try along with samples and coupons to pass onto my friends! So watch this space as I share with you my honest opinions of Max Factor's latest Innovation...

My fabulous project pack which arrived today!
